Aim of the course:Advanced skills in Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, machine vision, manufacturing cells simulation, VR/AR

• To describe and study the applications and tools of production digitalization under Industry 4.0.
• To create and simulate a digital model of an automated production line and/or Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS).
• To define the process flow via mapping, setup virtual layout and select the KPIs to analyse the performance of production lines.
• To create digital dashboard for KPIs monitoring and visualize production line via Virtual Reality (VR).
• To give an overview on the use of machine vision in the production industry and its integration for various purposes
• To develop the knowledge about Internet of Things (IoT) concept, focused on the industrial applications. Offer practical experience of design, assembly and use of IoT systems for industry.
Target group:Engineers and managers from industry, practitioners in the field of production engineering and management.
Prerequisites:Bachelor's, Applied Higher, Master's or equivalent education of manufacturing background.

Study results:Successful participants:
• Able to design, create digital and simulation environments of production floor/cells and integrate virtual reality possibilities for visualization and interaction purposes.
• Able to select performance indicators and quality enhancement measures for production monitoring.
• Able to understand and integrate machine vision tools in practice.
• Able to understand the IoT technologies and system design concepts
• Understand functionality and able to choose proper IoT components
• Can design, assembly and test simple IoT system
