Aim of the course:The aim of the e-course is to give an overview of the functioning of the Estonian digital state. How is the digital state being developed? What are the future prospects of the Estonian digital state? What are good modern digital state services? How can we cope with the challenges of a constantly changing technological environment?
The development of the digital state involves many areas of life and requires close cooperation between the public and private sectors. The development of the digital state often leads to changes at the legal, social, economic and information technology levels.
Passing the course will give you the new knowledge and ambitious ideas for implementing the digital state!
Target group:Private and public sector employees who want to have an overview of the different aspects of the digital state.

ITE4110 Information Society Principles: towards e-Governance, 6 ECTS, Autumn
Study results:The person who has completed the course:
• knows the main basic principles of the digital state and related technologies;
• has an overview of information society, digital state strategies and policies, as well as the bases for development;
• knows the legal framework of the digital state;
• is able to assess the quality of the development of digital state services;
• knows the components of the digital state and related activities;
• has an overview of the main development trends of the Estonian digital state (including the development of services, the use of data, AI etc.);
• is able to plan the transition to digital administration and digital services.
Assessment criteria:Kahe kursuse edukas läbimine (sh kursuste iseseisvad tööd).
Comments:Mikrokraadikavale võetakse vastu 8 osalejat.
